Collecting Case Studies.
When we think about it, talking about Legacies through stories is a really easy way to introduce the idea of leaving a gift in a Will. It can even take the fear out of talking about Legacies.
Remember that Legacies, like any other type of charitable giving, is dictated by our hearts and not our minds. Your case studies need to focus on how important Gifts in Wills have been to your cause. Whether that be the lives that they have saved, the life changing research they have funded, or maybe the services or projects that have been saved from closure because of a Legacy.
Put simply, a story about someone benefiting from a Legacy shows your supporters the difference that their Legacy could make. A story that shows the impact will tap into their emotions and take them on a journey to start caring about your cause.
I can review your current case study portfolio and identify areas where something is ‘missing’. It’s often the case that you’ll have many different case studies all telling essentially the same story, and the key is to find ways to tell your stories from different perspectives.
I can source the stories within your organisation, liaise with all relevant parties – from executors and solicitors to project managers and family members, and then write them up and show you where and when to use them.

Testimonials
“Sanita knows exactly the right questions to ask people to help them to express how important our services are to them. She’s a great communicator and has such a warm personality that people are comfortable talking to her and she makes sure that the experience is enjoyable for them as well as providing great content for our charity.
We’re a small team, so without Sanita’s support we’d have struggled to find the capacity to collect such a compelling library of stories to share with our supporters. It’s great to be able to draw on her skills and experience to support the team when we need it.” – Liz Thomas at Royal Voluntary Service
